Kitchen Knife

The aim with this kitchen knife is to link design elements from Raadvad’s classic kitchen knives, with a new, contemporary and distinctive look. The knife is characterized by the characteristic ‘kink’ on top of the blade and the circular indentations along the side of the blade. 

These two visual features also has a functional and ergonomic property. The indentations makes vegetables easily release the blade after a cut, while the ‘blade kink’ provides a natural area for placing the index finger to fine control the knife and also for the thumb to rest when chopping is needed.
