Menu Hand Blender

High-end hand blender, featuring unconventional materials
more info

The assignment in this project was to redesign a handheld consumer product, to make it relate to an existing company, with an established brand identity.

I chose the Danish home products company Menu, that is characterized by having a simplistic and geometric form language, that draws inspiration from Nordic and Scandinavian design traditions. In comparison to current hand blenders, the Menu hand blender features a number of unconventional materials, like wood (handle), copper (cabinet), fabric (cord) and polystone (stand).
